DHAKA: Opposition BNP standing committee member Brig Gen (Retd) ASM Hannan Shah said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is certifying the corrupt Cabinet colleagues to shield them.
“Terming Abul Hossain as ‘patriot’, the PM proved once again that she has connection with the corruption,” he asserted.
The BNP senior leader came up with the claim while addressing a meeting organized by Swadesh Mancha held at the National Press Club on Friday.
Hannan Shah urged the PM to fire other corrupt Cabinet members.
With organization president Mamunur Rashid Khan in the chair, adviser to the BNP Chairperson Shamsuzzaman Dudu, BNP secretary for international affairs ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, central leader Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, among others, spoke in the meeting.
