THAKURGAON: Opposition BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir categorically said that the people have no place in their hearts for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“The bonds of Awami League candidates will be confiscated if it holds next election under non-party government, he added.
He came up with the observation while addressing a view exchange meeting at Goreya government Primary School ground under Sadar upazila of the district Friday.
Terming the incumbent government as corrupt and looter, Mirza Fakhrul said, “The World Bank stopped Padma Bridge funding as Awami League ministers demanded bribe.”
He also alleged that the government filed fake cases against opposition leaders and activists after torching the bus in front of PM’s office.
The meeting was addressed, among others, by Goreya UP BNP president Rezwanul Haq and district BNP president Toimur Rahman.
