DHAKA: United Airways (BD) Limited, the country’s leading largest private airline, will start flying on Dhaka-Singapore route from last week of October next.
Weekly two flights from Dhaka to Singapore will be operating by MD-83 aircraft. This type of aircraft is safer, reliable, speedy, and has comfortable seats.
United Airways is now operating more international routes from Dhaka to Jeddah, Dubai, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kathmandu and Kolkata and also from Chittagong to Muscat and Kolkata.
The airline is operating flights to all major domestic sectors from Dhaka. Last 5 years united operates 29500 flights and carried nine lakh fifty thousand passengers.
Now United Airways (BD) Ltd has total 9 aircrafts which are two DASH 8-100, two ATR-72, three MD-83 and two Airbus-310. It has also plan to operate Dhaka to Doha, Dammam, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Karachi and Yangon by the end of this year.
On 10 July 2007, United Airways first took to the skies with a slogan “Fly Your Own Airline” and has been providing committed services ever since.
