DHAKA: A two-day long ‘Aid for Trade’ conference will begin on November 28 in the city with a view to removing bars to the way of national and international business.
Commerce Ministry, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and World Bank (WB) Bangladesh Office will jointly organize the programme at Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in the capital.
The organizers said the programme will help to remove obstacles on the way of business, including ensuring congenial atmosphere for global trade in a competitive world.
Commerce Secretary Mahbub Ahmed is scheduled to address the inaugural programme as chief guest.
Representatives of the OECD and WB will also address the programme, sources said.
