DHAKA: A colourful procession was brought out in city to mark National Energy Security Day Thursday morning.
The procession started from Shaheed Minar at about 9:30am and ended at National Press Club.
Prime Minister’s energy adviser Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury inaugurated the procession.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Mohammad Enamul Haque, Energy Secretary Mejbah Uddin, Petrobangla Chairman Dr. Hossain Monsur, MD of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd Abdul Aziz Khan, MD of BAPEX Mortuza Ahmed Faruk and officials-staffs of Energy Ministry, Petrobangla and different companies of Gas sector took part in the procession.
