DHAKA: Standard Bank Ltd Chairman Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed-led panel won a landslide victory at the biennial election of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) early Sunday.
Election Board Chairman Ali Ashraf MP announced the result of the polls at FBCCI Bhaban at 5:45am.
A total of 63 candidates were contesting for the posts of 30 directors under the banner of two panels. Amongst them, 30 are from chamber group and 33 from association group.
Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed panel won 20 posts.
