Hotel staff’s decomposed body recovered in city

DHAKA: The decomposed body of a hotal staff was recovered from the roads and highway office quarter in city’s Mohakhali area on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Nazrul Islam, 18, a staff of city’s Quaderia residential hotel and hailed from Patuakhali district.

Banani thana OC Bhuiyan Mahbub Hossain said, “Locals informed police when bad smell emitted from the room of Nazrul. On information, police rushed in and recovered the decomposed body of Nazrul on Saturday morning.”

Locals said Nazrul had a long standing dispute with his wife and she recently left him. He was disappeared from last couple of days and his room was locked from outside.

Police suspected that his wife might kill him and locked the body inside the room.
