DHAKA: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel held 25 persons for their alleged involvement in cheating from city’s Moghbazar and Paltan areas Thursday.
RAB-3 operation officer additional superintendent of police Shamima Aktar said, acting on a tip-off, RAB conducted day-long drives and held 15 persons, including two women from a fake marriage media.
In another drive, the elite force also held 10 job seekers who were deceived by fake employment advertisement on newspaper.
