JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: Assistant Registrar of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Mohammad Mintu died of cardiac arrest on Monday evening.
He breathed his last on the way to hospital at about 6pm.
Mohammad Mintu worked as Assistant Registrar in education section of the university. He was a student of 17th Batch of Bangla Department.
He was also the literature secretary of Jahangirnagar University Central Students` Union (JUCSU) under the banner of Chhatra Dal in 1991-92 sessions.
Mohammad Mintu was born in Rajbari district.
Jatiyatabadi Teachers’ Forum and Jahangirnagar University Journalists’ Association gave statement expressing condolence on the death of Mohammad Mintu.
