RCC to set WiFi zone

RAJSHAHI: Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has decided to install wireless internet zone in different spots of the city to speed up its activities and let the youths to use information technology.

The corporation has formed a convening committee in this regard.

The convener of the committee panel mayor-1 Shariful Islam Babu told banglanews that the corporation would provide more services to the citizens within short span of time by the WiFi endeavor.

RCC Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton told banglanews, the main purpose of the task is to make the modern technology available to the youths.

Firstly, Nagar Bhaban, Barakuthi Binodon Spot and Rajshahi College will be brought under this service. Later, west and north zones of the city will be brought under the service, he added.
