DINAJPUR : Two people were killed in separate train accidents in the district on Saturday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Witnesses said a Dinajpur-bound train rammed a man of around 40 years in No 8 rail-cross area of the district around 9:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
On the other hand, another man of around 30 years old was killed under the wheel of a train in Kauga rail station area at around 10:30am.
On information, Dinajpur Railway thana police recovered the bodies from the spots.
