RAJSHAHI: A minor was killed when a truck rammed over him in Chandua crossing area under Tanore upazila of the district Monday.
The deceased was identified as Oliullah, 7, son of Shariatullah of the same area.
Witnesses said that a oil-laden rashly driven truck rammed over Oliullah while he was crossing the road in the area, laving him dead on the spot.
The agitated mob barricaded the road for an hour and held the killer driver and helper.
Sub-Inspector of Tanore Thana Khalek confirmed the matter to banglanews.
