DUITS-Samsung Campus Tech Fest begins

DHAKA UNIVERSITY: A two-day long DUITS-Samsung Campus Technology Festival will be held at TSC on Dhaka University campus from July 11-12.

Dhaka University IT Society disclosed the matter at a press conference held at RC Majumdar Auditorium of the university on Saturday.

DU Vice Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddque will inaugurate the IT festival, first ever to be held on the campus, at 9:30am on Wednesday.

Newly formed Television and Film Studies Department Chairman Dr Shafiul Alam Bhuiya will moderate the function while Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will attend the function as chief guest.

A total of 1200 students of 30 leading universities of the country will participate in the function.

The IT festival includes IT project display, gaming contest, quiz competition, workshop, seminar, debate on IT, business idea, film festival, meet the personality, desktop and laptop service desk.

DU IT Society President Abdullah Al Imran presented the keynote paper in the press meet.
