LAXMIPUR: A person was killed and 10 others injured in a clash between two groups over land dispute at Charpata village under Raipur upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Mannan, 45.
The injured are Abdul Aziz, Taslima, Alauddin, Fatema and Riaz. They were admitted into Raipur Upazila Health Complex.
Sub-Inspector of Raipur Thana Syed Jakir told banglanews that there was longstanding dispute between Mannan and his brother centering the land.
Earlier in the day, they locked into a clash over disputed land, leaving 10 people injured, he added.
Later, Mannan succumbed to his injuries on way to Dhaka.
