JnU Eid vacation begins Monday

DHAKA: The authority of Jagannath University (JnU) announced an 18-day vacation on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Fitr without any prior notice on Monday.

The University administration issued a press release in this regard on Monday morning.

According to the notice, all the departments and administrative offices of the university will remain closed between August 15 and August 23 while all classes will be remain closed from August 6 to August 23.

The academic activities of the university will resume on August 24.

On the other hand, the general students of the University expressed their resentment as the authority did not inform them about the vacation earlier.

While contacted, JnU registrar engineer Ohiduzzaman said that he is busy in a meeting and can’t talk on the issue.
