DHAKA: Opposition leader and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is expected to return home on Monday morning from Saudi Arabia after performing holy Umrah.
A flight of Gulf Airways carrying the BNP chairperson, will landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at about 4:40am Monday.
Khaleda’s personal secretary Md. Suratuzzaman confirmed banglanews about the matter.
Earlier on June 15, the opposition Leader of the House reached Saudi Arabia.
A regular flight of Emirates Airlines carrying the former prime minister landed at Jeddah King Adbul Aziz Airport at about 3:45am (Saudi Standard Time).
Earlier, the opposition leader took treatment from Bangkok.
She was scheduled to Saudi Arabia to take treatment but due to movement against the government she cancelled the schedule.
Recently, the Saudi ambassador to Dhaka met Khaleda Zia and invited her on behalf of the Saudi King Abdullah to visit the country.
