DHAKA: Opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farooque said democracy can’t be saved making the parliament inactive.
He alleged Awami League wants to assume power next keeping the parliament inactive.
Farooque came up with the statement while addressing a human chain in front of National Pres Club Friday.
Bangladesh Labor Part organized the programme marking “Democracy Killing Day”.
People are not safe in the hand of Awami League, Farooque added.
He urged the AL MPs to resign confessing their corruption and irregularities.
