DHAKA: Police held two Bangladeshi nationals at Sydney International Airport with $10 lakh.
The detainees are Mohammed Nurul Islam, 56, and his son Prabal Islam, 25,
They were held at about 10:15am on Wednesday (Sydney local time). On Thursday, they were produced before Parramatta Local Court. Nurul Islam got bail later.
The Australian posted the news on its online service.
Later, police held Andrew Almada, 27, and Cheuk Fai Chan, 56 as per information given by father-son. The court granted bail to all accused but Prabal.
Police also recovered a large quantity of steroids from their possession.
As per the report, customs and security officials intercepted Nurul Islam and Prabal Isalm while they trying to board plane at Sydney Airport for Dhaka.
They have been charged with Commonwealth proceeds of crime offences as well as possessing a restricted substance and were to appear in Parramatta Local Court Thursday.
On August 29, the hearing of the case will be held at Barwood local court.
