JESSORE: A prisoner died of heart attack in the Central Jail of the district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Tulshi Biswas Mantu, 64, son of Kumud Biswas of Ranaghat Bankimnagar area under Nadia district of India.
Jailer of the Jessore Central Jail Kamrul Huda told banglanews that Mantu was sentenced with 30 years imprisonment for robbery, snatching and keeping arms.
Early Friday Mantu feeling pain in his chest and he was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead, he added.
