BCL leader chopped in Rangpur

RANGPUR: Some miscreants chopped a local Chhatra League leader and Rangpur Medical College in district on Monday night.

The injured is----Rezwanur Rahman Miraz, Chhatra League president of Rangpur Medical College branch.
Sources said some miscreants chopped Rezwanur in front of Dr Pinnu Hostel of Rangpur Medical College around 8:30pm.

Later, he was admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in a critical condition.

Hospital’s surgery division assistant Prof Shahjahan Basunia told banglanews, “Around 50 stitches were made on his hands and chest. He is still in a critical condition.”

Meanwhile, students took out a protest rally protesting against the matter in the campus.

Rangpur Detective Division Senior SI Shariful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
