DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the ruling Awami League president, invited acting secretary-general of opposition BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to an Iftar party to be hosted on August 1.
An invitation card was delivered to the party’s central office in city’s Naya Paltan on Saturday afternoon.
The Iftar party will be held at the PM’s official residence Gana Bhaban on August 1 in honour of political leaders, professionals and eminent personalities of the country.
