DINAJPUR: Bangladesh Railway (BR) launched a special intercity train service on Parbatipur-Dhaka-Parbatipur route Thursday in a bid to ease the sufferings of home-bound people during Eid vacation.
The ‘Eid Special-2’ train service was launched at about 6am Thursday and will be operated till August 26.
Additional chief Operating Superintend of Weat Zone rail Mosharraf Hossain said the train will leave Parbatipur at about 6am and will reach Dhaka at about 3pm everyday.
“It will start its journey for Parbatipur from the capital at about 4.25pm and reached Parbatipur at about 1:30am everyday”, he added.
