DHAKA: Industries Minister Dilip Barua categorically said that proper use of merits is essential for the industrialization of the country.
The minister came up with the observation while addressing a seminar at city’s Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
Dilip Barua said, “The industrially developed countries of the world have achieved prosperity in industry, science, information technology and economy sectors using the merits of developing countries.”
The third industrial revolution began with knowledge based and green industrialization, and the developed countries are model in this regard, he added.
With additional secretary of Industries Ministry ABM Khorshed Alam in the chair, the seminar was also, addressed, among others, by Industries Secretary Masud Siddique, DPDT registrar M Khalilur Rahman and deputy registrar AFM Mahbubul Ahsan.
