Dhk-Ctg rail service resumes

COMILLA: After a three-hour halt following derailment, railway communications on Dhaka-Chittagong route resumed on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier, the rail communications on the route was suspended in the morning as one bogy of a goods-laden train derailed at Bijoypur in Sadar upazila of the district.

Comilla Railway Stationmaster Mohammad Hossain Mazumder told banglanews that two wheels of one boggy of a Dhaka-bound goods carrying train veered off the rail track at Bijoypur on Lalmai-Moynamati rail route around 11:30am.
