Airtel announced the availability of it m-education offering `Tuition Alert` for its mobile customers in Bangladesh. Priced at BDT 30 (excluding VAT) for 30 day pack, the service will facilitate effective and informed communication between tutor and student by just dialing (*321*600#) from their Airtel connections. Customers can also subscribe this service for 15/7/1 day/s.
Commenting on the new service capability, Chris Tobit, CEO and Managing Director, Airtel Bangladesh said, At Airtel, we constantly strive to introduce services that will enrich our customers’ mobile experience.
The availability of "Tuition Alert" will offer the necessary support to our customers in locating tutor easily on their handheld with Airtel connections. Moreover, tutors can also get alerts around probable job openings - thereby enabling the ecosystem to achieve their potential”.
Students can also search for tutors and when matching profile requests lands, student and tutors can contact each other through SMS charged at BDT 2 (excluding VAT). Both pre-paid and post-paid customers can avail this service, although post-paid customers can only avail the 30 day pack.
