DHAKA: The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 imposed a ban on publishing further report containing conversation between Justice Nizamul Huq and law expert Ahmed Ziauddin over Skype.

The ICT-2 led by Justice Obaidul Hasan passed the order following a petition on Thursday.

Earlier state prosecutor Rana Dasgupta filed the petition seeking ban.

Earlier on Sunday last, the Daily Amar Desh published a news item disclosing secret Skype conversation between Justice Nizamul Huq and Dr Ahmed Ziauddin living in abroad.

The Supreme Court Bar Association President Joynal Abedin on Monday demanded resignation of chairman of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Justice Nizamul Huq for the conversation.

Nizamul Huq submitted his resignation letter to the law ministry through the registrar of the tribunal and law secretary Sheikh Mohammad Jahirul Haque received the letter.
