CHITTAGONG: The bodies of two men were recovered from a Karnaphuli Navy Jetighat area Tuesday where a boat capsized on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Jahangir Alam, 22, son of late Nurul Islam and Jesmin Akter, 15, daughter of Nurul Alam of Dangarchar area.
Sub-Inspector of Karnaphuli Thana Abul Kalam told banglanews, “With these two, a total of three bodies have been recovered after a boat capsized there due to wave while a ship was anchoring.”
On Sunday afternoon, three people went missing as a boat carrying 30/35 passengers capsized in Karnaphuli River in Jetighat area under Port Thana.
