DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway with downward trend of share-price indices Wednesday.

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 28 points minus to stand at 4,550 at 1:20 pm.

Trade deals stood at 80,810 with volume of transactions at Tk 4,086 million.

Of the issues traded, 43 advanced, 211 declined and 16 remained unchanged during the time.

JAMUNAOIL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 489 million having changed hands.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8, 8 37 by dropping over 76 points at 1:25pm.

Out of the issues traded, 19 gained, 159 declined and 5 remained unchanged.
