Section 144 imposed in M’bazar

MOULVIBAZAR: The local administration Monday imposed section 144 in Moulvibazar town to avert an imminent clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League as they convened Iftar parties at the same venue on the same day.

Deputy Commissioner imposed the section 144 at Banaful Community Centre and Jahangir Community Centre and the surrounding area to be enforced from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.

DC office told banglanews that the administration took the decision to avert any untoward situation as the two factions of the political organization organized Iftar parties in the area.
