DHAKA: Islami Oikya Jote Chairman Mufti Fazlul Huq Amini said he is going to appear from ‘house arrest’ condition after Eid, if required, to make the 18-party alliance movement a success.
He came up with the assertion while addressing an iftar party organized by the party, in honour of political leaders, held at his Lalbagh party office on Wednesday.
Amini also declared that he would attend all the programmes organized by 18-party alliance from now.
The country and democracy are not safe under Sheikh Hasina and peace will not prevail unless her government collapses, he said.
He called everybody to participate in the government to oust movement after Eid.
Kalyan Party president major general (retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim, LDP secretary general Redoan Ahmed, Labour Party president Mustafizur Rahman Iran and National Democratic Party President Khandaker Golam Mortuza were among others present in the iftar party.
