BHOLA: Former lawmaker of Bhola-2 constituency Nazrul Islam died of kidney diseases at a city hospital on Wednesday night. He was 70.
Family sources said Nazrul Islam was suffering from kidney and liver diseases. He was taken on life support on Tuesday as his condition deteriorated. Later, he died around 7pm on Wednesday.
Incumbent MP of Bhola-2 constituency Tofael Ahmed, former MP Hafiz Ibrahim, UP Chairman Mamunur Rashid Babul Chowdhury and upazila AL president Nasir Ahmed Khan conveyed their deep condolence and sympathy to the bereaved family members.
The namaz-e-janaza of Nazrul Islam will be held in front of his residence on Friday.
