DHAKA: A man was killed when a bus ran over him at Dainik Bangla intersection under city’s Motijheel Thana on Monday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abu Bakar Siddique, employee of city’s Karim Chamber.
Witnesses said a recklessly driven bus of Dhaka Paribahan ran over him in the area around 2:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy, hospital sources said.
