DHAKA: Bangladesh Tariff Commission (BTC) Chairman Dr Mujibur Rahman Tuesday said the combined trade policy of the country would be finalized by December next.
The BTC chief came up with the disclosure while addressing a seminar held at a hotel in the city.
A seminar will be held on July 14 for all to give opinion in this regard, he informed.
Addressing the seminar, Center for Policy Dialogue (CPD) fellow Dr Debapriya Bhattacharya said, “The combined trade policy must be the tools of constructive changing.”
With noted industrialist Manzur Elahi in the chair, the seminar was also addressed, among others, by former education minister Dr Osman Faruk.
