Corruption going on everywhere: Rafiqul Islam Miah

DHAKA: Quoting the statement made by Finance Minister on corruption in the country, BNP standing committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah alleged that every department of the incumbent government is corrupted.

He came up with the allegation while addressing a human chain programme arranged by Jatiyatabadi Muktijudda Dal and Jatiyatabadi Projonmo in front of the National Press Club in the city on Friday.

Barrister Rafiqul Islam said, “The country is at stake. Corruption is now going on everywhere including Padma Bridge, quick rental project, stock market etc. Thousands of crore taka is being plundered.”

Mentioning Ilias Ali was gone missing by law enforcers to turn people’s eye from corruption, he asserted that this condition of the country can not be allowed to continue anymore.

Among others, Syeda Asifa Ashrafi Papiya, Jatiyatabadi Muktijudda Dal President Principal Sohrab Hossain were present in the programme.
