THAKURGAON: At least 22 people, including women, were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers in Bhanor village under Baliadangi uapzila of the district on Saturday morning.
Of the injured, three were rushed to Thakurgaon Modern Hospital in critical condition and 15 were admitted in Baliadangi Health Complex.
Witnesses said supporters of Yasin Ali and Nasirul Islam locked into a clash following a previous enmity over land possession around 9:00am, leaving 22 people of both sides injured.
Officer-in-Charge of Baliadangi Thana Shamim Hasan Sardar told banglanews that on information, police forces were sent to the area and they took the situation under control.
No case was filed in this connection, he added.
