CHITTAGONG: The leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League abducted the assistant Loco master (driver) of Chittagong University (CU)-bound shuttle train from Sholoshohor rail station in the city on Sunday morning.
Station Master SM Fakhrul Alam said the BCL men abducted Loco master Quamrul Huda at about 10:50am.
Confirming the matter, railway thana OC Abu Taher said, “He was abducted by BCL activists while changing the engine of No. 134 shuttle train. Meanwhile, the activists also took away the keys of the train with them.”
“But, the reason behind the abduction could not be known immediately”, he added.
