Woman killed in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR: A woman was killed over family feud in Bangakha union under sadar upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Fatema Akhter, 28,

Deceased’s family sources said her husband Shohag and father-in law Nur Hossain use to beat her up often.

Later, Fatema was beaten to death by her Shohag, Nur Hossain and her mother-in law at their resident on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, sources said the accused are on fled. Laxmipur Sadar Thana OC Sarwar told banglanews, “No injury marks were found on her body. We will take necessary measures once filed with a complaint.”
