DHAKA: The 14-party grand alliance has asked the opposition party to place the outline of interim government if they have any proposal in this regard.
The leaders of the grand alliance claimed that the next election would be held under the interim government and the political parties would formulate the system of the polls.
Ruling Awami League General Secretary Ashraful Islam came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after a meeting of 14-party grand alliance.
The spokesperson for the ruling Awami League said, “The next election will be held in line with the elections held like others democratic country.”
The lawmaker told the journalists that the caretaker government was cancelled through the verdict of the Supreme Court.
“But, the discussion may be taken place with the outline of the interim government,” the newsmen were told.
Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon said, “There is no scope to return in the caretaker government.”
