CHITTAGONG: Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Thursday filed six cases against three officials for their alleged involvement in irregularities in recruitment in Bangladesh Railway.
ACC assistant director SM Rashidur Reza filed the cases with Kotwali Thana in the noon.
Kotwali Thana OC AKM Mohiuddin confirmed this to banglanews.
The accused officers are general manager Yusuf Ali Mridha, additional chief mechanical engineer (East Zone) Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury and senior welfare officer (East Zone) Golam Kibria.
Rashidur Reza told journalists evidences have been found against the accused in primary investigation.
In April, general manager (east zone) Yusuf Ali Mridha and Dhaka Division security commandant Enamul Haq were suspended four days after the haul of Tk 70 lakh from former railway minister Suranjit Sengupta’s aide Omar Faruq Talukder inside BGB Pilkhana Headquarters.
