DHAKA: Bangladesh Biman started selling the tickets of Hajj flights for carrying Bangladesh pilgrims to Saudi Arabia which will begin on September 17.
The hajj flights will end on October 22, said Biman secretary Ataharul Islam while talking to journalists at a press conference Sunday.
Managing Director of the Biman Bangladesh Airlines Mosaddek Ahmed was also present at the press meet.
Addressing the press conference, Mosaddek Ahmed said, “A total of 112,568 pilgrims from Bangladesh will perform hajj this year.”
Of them, Biman would carry half of the pilgrims while Saudi Arabian Airlines and National Air Service (NAS) will carry others, the newsmen were told.
The return hajj flights will begin on October 30 and will continue until November 28.
