DHAKA: The government has signed a deal worth $12.5 million with the World Bank for the project of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
The deal signing ceremony was held at the Economic Relations Department (ERD) of Planning Commission in the city’s Agargaon on Monday noon.
As per the agreement, the World Bank will provide US $12.5 million for development of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation.
Christine E Kimes, acting director to World Bank Bangladesh and ERD additional secretary Arasta Khan signed the deal on behalf of their respective sides.
The project will start in August and it is expected to end in 2016.
