DHAKA: Surgery Department Professor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Dr M Julfiqur Rahman Khan was appointed as treasurer of the varsity.
On Wednesday, President M Zillur Rahman, chancellor of the university appointed Dr Julfiqur as treasurer.
He obtained his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College Hospital in 1982. He secured FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1992.
Apart from this, he obtained FRCS degree from Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow in United Kingdom in 1993.
