KUET: The authority of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has taken up a daylong programme to observe the National Mourning Day and 37th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The programmes include hoisting of the national flag at half-mast and black flag in front of the Administrative Building and at all residential halls, the sources said.
Public relation officer Abdur Rahman said, “A Doa mahfil will be held at the central moaque of the university after the Asr prayer in the day.”
Besides, a discussion meeting will be held at the university auditorium at about 5pm on August 29.
