4-BNP leaders sent to jail

DHAKA: A Dhaka court Sunday sent four opposition BNP leaders to jail after remand in driver Badar killing case.

They are Jatiyatabadi Swechhasebak Dal President Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal President Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Juba Dal General Secretary Saiful Islam Nirob and DU Chhatra Dal convener leader Abdul Matin.

Metropolitan Magistrate Amit Kumar Dey passed the order.

Bus driver Badar Ali Beg, 48, was burnt alive while asleep inside his bus on April 21 in city.
