CHITTAGONG: Opposition BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia categorically Sunday said BNP would bring all the incident of grafts, including Padma Bridge, under trial if the party assumes power in the next.
The BNP chief, also former prime minister came up with the forewarning while talking to journalists after visiting landslide-spot and distributing among the victims in the city.
Calling upon the government to rehabilitate of the landslide victim families, the opposition BNP chief said, “The government should provide accommodation for them as every citizen has the right to live.”
The former prime minster said BNP would bring all corruptions, including Padma-Bridge, under trial if it is able to assume the country’s power again.
She also urged the government to take necessary measures against them who have betrayed the interest of the countrymen.
Khaleda also said BNP would construct two Padma-Bridges if her party attains the public mandate one again.
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Vice-chairman Abdullah Al Noman, M Morshed Khan and Chittagong City BNP leaders accompanied the chairperson during the visit.
