DHAKA: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved eight development projects involving Tk 2,323 crore.
The approval came from a meeting of ECNEC held at the NEC conference room at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in the city Tuesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ECNEC Chairperson, presided over the meeting.
ECNEC members including Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Planning Minister Air-Vice Marshal (retd) AK Khandker, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan, Advisers to the Prime Minister, Members of the Planning Commission, Secretaries and Officials concerned were among others present at the meeting.
