34 BNP men acquitted of vandalism charge

HABIGANJ: Some 34 leaders and activist of BNP and its front organizations were acquitted on charge of vandalism in district Shilpakala Academy.

Habiganj Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Musleh Uddin passed the order at 1:00pm on Wednesday as charges brought against them were not proved.

On June 21, the 34 BNP men were sued for their alleged involvement in vandalism in district Shilpakala Academy.

Office Staff Motaleb Mia filed the case under speedy trail act with Sadar Thana.
 
Assistant public prosecutor Advocate Shamsuzzaman Dudu stood for the state while Advocate Saleh Ahmed moved for the defendants.
