CHANDINA, COMILLA: An Indian national was Thursday sent to jail for intruding into Bangladesh territory.
The Indian national is---- Liton Debnath, 29, son of late Prafulya Debnath of Madhupur village in Tripura.
Sources said he was sent jail in the afternoon after police produced him before the court.
Debidwar Thana OC S.M Badiuzzaman told banglanews said, “He was held from a passenger bus in Shangchail area on Comilla-Sylhet highway while he was going to his relative’s place after intruding through the Akhaura frontier on Wednesday night.
Later, a case was filed against him for intruding into Bangladesh territory in the evening
