THAKUGAON: US Ambassador Dan W Mozena will visit Thakurgaon, the north-western district of Bangladesh, Sunday for attending different programmes.
The US envoy will first visit Thakurgaon Sugar Mills in the noon, said deputy commissioner of the district Mukesh Chandra Biswas.
He will exchange views with the officials of the sugar mills, he added.
Tight security measures were taken by the district police administration and additional police forces were deployed in different points of the district town.
