CHAPAINAWABGANJ: A motorcyclist was killed as a truck knocked him down on Karnakhali-Bholahut road under Shibganj upazila of the district on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman, 15, son of Saifuddin of Kamalpur village.
Shibganj Police Station OC Jashimuddin Habib told banglanews, “A truck knocked him down from behind on Karnakhali-Bholahut road around 6:30pm, killing him on the spot.”
Sources said the killer truck fled the scene soon after the incident.
